Wait, is He Legal To Drive Yet?! Going for a Ride on the Wild Side

Wait, is he legal to drive yet?! This is a photo of one of our SERVPRO of Cape Girardeau & Scott Counties' heroes, while in North Carolina, helping out with Hurricane Florence. One of our happy customer's grandson wanted to give our hero a ride in his car, so they went for a cruise in their backyard. They were going for a ride on the wild side. Why SERVPRO of Cape Girardeau & Scott Counties? Our heroes know how to work hard -- and play hard. As a result of the storm, our heroes helped restore this customer's residential property back to "Like it never even happened." This is one reason we are right for your home or business.

Throw in the "Tile"

How it was cleaned

We properly assembled scaffolding so that we could reach the ceiling and tops of the wall to clean them. To remove the soot, we first used our dry sponges to remove the top layer of residue. The result of dry sponging is what you see in this picture. After we dry sponged the surface, we use our wet cleaning method with our SERVPRO products to remove any remaining soot.

Water in the Ceiling in Jackson

Water damages can affect multiple levels of a structure. If it happens on a higher level, water can seep into the floor and through the ceiling to the next level. Rainwater can also make its way through roofs to cause a wet ceiling. When that happens, be careful with lighting wires and other forms of electricity because they may be damaged and can be an electrical hazard. As you can see, this Jackson, MO home had a wet ceiling right around a light fixture and needed to take precautions.
