Broken Pipeline in Perryville

This is a master bathroom in Perryville, MO that was affected by a pipe leak. The water leak originated from a broken pipeline underneath the sink. Standing water in the basement had to be extracted and contents were manipulated. Upstairs, water extensively migrated beneath the laminate flooring. A small amount of vinyl in the master bathroom had to be removed and is pictured as well as the removal of baseboards. Baseboards act as a moisture barrier which slows down the drying process of the drywall. Sometimes, holes also needed to be drilled at the base of the wall to allow air movement into the cavity of the drywall. It is important not to forget about drying drywall during a water loss because mold can easily grow there.
